Tatz by Megz Tattoo Booking Policies

Welcome to Tatz by Megz, where your tattoo dreams come to life! We're thrilled to embark on this creative journey with you. Before booking your appointment, please take a moment to review our policies to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience. Megz also has a tattoo price sheet here on her tattoo website to make you feel more at ease.

Booking Process:

*Consultation: Every tattoo journey begins with a consultation. Reach out to schedule yours, either in person or virtually. During this session, we'll discuss your tattoo ideas, placement, size, and any other relevant details. This will ensure that Megz can get you an accurate quote and deposit for your tattoo. Please keep in mind Megz can deny and will recommend you to a tattoo artist that can beautifully bring your tattoo idea to life. Megz DOES NOT TATTOO the inside of mouth, American flag tattoos (EXCEPT flash size old school traditional flags those are usually accepted), cosmetic tattoos (EXCEPT freckles), realism tattoos, large or micro fineline tattoos, couple names and anniversary dates (will accept cute matching flash/design couple tattoos NO EXCEPTIONS)

and any hate tattoos ;example confederate flags.

*Booking: Once the design is finalized and approved by the tattoo artist Megz, and she gives you a time slot for your session. She will send you a link to her online booking for you to personally schedule your appointment. A non-refundable deposit will be required to secure your slot. 

*Design Creation: Following the tattoo design consultation and booking, our talented tattoo artist, Megz, will use all information and references in the consultation to create a unique custom tattoo and bring your vision to reality. Due to the demanding nature of an tattoo artist's schedule, tattoo designs will not be emailed or showed in advance to your tattoo appointment. Expect to see the tattoo design at the appointment. Also if you want any small revisions and adjustments to get the perfect tattoo design, expect it at the appointment.

Booking Policies:

*Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your appointment slot. This deposit will be deducted from the final cost of your tattoo. If you request and reserve a 5-8 hour tattoo appointment and change to a 1-4 hour tattoo appointment WITHOUT giving a 72 our notice your deposit will be reduced to the new hours requested for your tattoo appointment! If you give the tattoo artist a 72 hour notice this does not apply and your full deposit will go to the tattoo hour changes. Here is Megz tattoo deposit summary:

Deposits are 50%

*Cancellation/Rescheduling: We understand that life happens, but please provide at least 72 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Failure to do so may result in forfeiture of your deposit. You are also aloud to transfer your deposit once for a reschedule if you follow the terms above. A second reschedule will  forfeit your previous deposit and new one will be needed. You also cannot give your appointment away to another person.

*Arrival: Please arrive on time for your appointment. Arriving late may result in a shortened tattoo session or cancellation, and your deposit will be forfeited.

*Age Requirement: You must be 18 years or older to get tattooed at Tatz by Megz. Valid photo government ID is required.

*Health Considerations: If you're feeling unwell or have any health concerns on the day of your appointment, please reschedule. We prioritize the safety and well-being of our clients and artists.

*Design Changes: While we aim to capture your vision accurately, minor tattoo design changes may be accommodated on the day of your appointment. However, significant alterations will require rescheduling and a new deposit. Once the tattoo design is approved and deposit is paid for that tattoo design it is final. Full tattoo design change must be communicated and approved by the tattoo artist at least 48 hours in advance.

*Payment: Full payment is due at the completion of your tattoo session. We accept cash and major credit/debit cards, cash is always the preferred payment method for tattoo artists.
